Argon is a non-toxic and inert gas, meaning it doesn’t undergo a chemical reaction with other substances like wine. Thus, it cannot alter the taste or aroma of your wine. It merely shields the wine from oxygen since it is denser.
After the wine preservation process, wine bottles are recommended to be refrigerated so it can be preserved longer. When stored at room temperature, the bottle can still be exposed to sunlight that can also ruin the wine, but storing the wine at a cooler temperature slows down the chemical processes.
